How to turn a livestream into videos and shorts
To turn a livestream into videos and shorts, mark the best segments, cut each into its own video with a cold open and chapters, then cut the strongest exchanges into vertical shorts. One stream can fill a week of uploads.
1. Mark the moments
Note timestamps for heated exchanges, good callers and strong guest answers while you stream, or right after.
2. Cut the long videos
Each strong segment becomes its own video. Keep debates whole rather than splitting them by topic.
3. Add a cold open
Put the most heated moment first, a few seconds long.
4. Cut the shorts
Hook line first, then the full exchange, under three minutes.
5. Package and schedule
Title, thumbnail, description and chapters, then spread the uploads across the week.
